I went to this place a little more than a month ago. I moved recently to the US to the NJ area and I didn't know where to go for my highlights. I have had highlights for 16 years and 3-4 times per year, so I really know how a quality work should look like. I had 50% my natural hair color (dark brown) and 50% flawless and very classy light wheat blonde highlights. I saw a girl in the mall that had highlights similar to mines. I asked her to give me the contact info of the place that she goes. She recommended Laura and as a second option NIKKI. Laura was on a maternity leave, so I got an appointment with NIKKI.I would never have imagined how much I was going to regret making that choice and letting someone like NIKKI to touch my hair. I couldn't have been more specific and detailed about what I wanted and what I needed. I even showed her the blond color on the color chart. I also was very vocal on how I DON'T LIKE orange or red colors on my hair. I just asked her to replicate on my roots the flawless work that I had got done for years I.e. very elegant, thin, symmetric and natural looking highlights. The result: She completely destroyed my hair! she colored my ENTIRE hair in as many as possible orange and red shades. There was no evenness anywhere. She left roots 3 inches long and a section on the top of my head like 5 inches yellow. My scalp burned for over a week and it was peeling for a month. My hair close to the roots looks like the hair of a doll-DEAD, DRY, with a lot of BROKEN hairs and no Shine. I was so upset and shocked that I didn't say anything and left. The next day I decided to call and speak with the owner- Christy. She begged me to come back to the salon to get it fixed without extra charge. She offered to put me with her top designer- DIANE. she explained that NIKKI is just an apprentice that charges 164 USD, plus tip. I declined the offer, but the following days I felt so ashamed in the office of how I looked and the holidays were coming and I was traveling, that I decided to give it a second chance. So I called Christy again and she promised that she will rearrange the schedule so that her top of the line designer could fix my hair. After a one hour drive, I finally got there. Both the owner and Diane looked at my hair for a while. Of course, it is such a mess that it is difficult to figure out where to start. Then, they left me alone for about 10 mins. When they returned, super star DIANE explained that she had another appointment and that she didn't have time to fix my hair. So, what happened with the offer and promises that the owner made? I was asked to move to another chair, a second stylist started to look my hair for a while. She left me alone for like 15 mins and when she came back, she said that she only had 30 mins because she had another appointment so that she was only going to redo the top of my hair. I told her that I paid for a full head highlight service, and that my entire hair was destroyed, therefore the expect
